S & G Explorer LTD. was established in November 2005 by Semu Mbise and Gwendolina Wesselo. Semu has been born and raised in Tanzania. He has been working as a safari guide for the last eight years and therefore knows his country from top to bottom. Gwendolina is Dutch, has been working in the tourism industry for ten years and has had a passion for Africa since she was three years old. Her parents used to take her to visit relatives in Swaziland and she fell in love with the continent. In 2000 Gwendolina went on a holiday to Tanzania and immediately developed a passion for the country. During that holiday she met Semu. Five years later their friendship resulted in a safari enterprise named S & G Explorer | Tanzanian wilderness safaris | LTD.
S & G Explorer LTD. offers you a choice of several different tours, from basic to luxurious, from daytrips to an exploration of several weeks and from indiviual tours to group tours.
On this website you will find information about the different safari options that we offer. Should you have different needs or wants we can create a custom trip. Please contact us for more information.
A few days in Dar es Salaam or a few days on the beaches of Zanzibar can be added as an option to all our tour packages.
For our safaris we use 4x4 Landrovers, driven by our experienced English-speaking drivers. On camp safaris an experienced cook will also join the tour.
